Maggie Humphry's Shropshire - Pengwern Books - Books in Shrewsbury
|
Maggie Humphry's Shropshire Sixty powerful full-page drawings covering all parts of Shropshire, capturing its magic in different ways. Maggie Humphry moved to Shropshire from Wales. She says in her book "Perhaps the many years I lived in the land of the Dragon has made me appreciate this rural English county even more." In spite of finding the landscape of the County visually exciting "it is the buildings that attract me most" writes Maggie in the introduction to her book. And indeed, the paintings in this book show that so clearly. The book has been published in association with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust.
